After ten years in operation and less than two months in our newly purchased building, Dragonfly School will be closing our doors indefinitely (and likely permanently) after discovering that our building has some serious issues that are clearly beyond our means to repair at this time. Today is our last day with students in attendance.

It is with great sadness that I share this news, and I want to express the deep love and gratitude I have for the children, families and broader community of Santa Fe for having been a part of what we do for these many years.

We have always strived to be a supportive, strong and loving presence in Santa Fe, working with our students and their families to grow and thrive in an atmosphere of respect, kindness and nurturing for all. May my staff and students go forward in the world carrying that vision with them, both peacefully and noisily, each in their own manner of expression.

It has been my great joy to guide this mission through the auspices of Dragonfly School from its inception. I hope to remain a part of this beautiful community with you all for many years to come as we continue on with our lives around Santa Fe.

With hope,
Stephanie Smith
Founder and Director, Dragonfly School
