Supply List 2011-2012

We have opted to let teachers purchase the specific items that they require for each classroom this year, keeping your back-to-school shopping list short. The items we are asking you to provide are essentials for your childʼs daily school success. Please make sure that all your childʼs belongings are labeled with your childʼs name or initials, including clothing and lunch containers. Individual teachers may add some small items to this list later.

Reusable lunchbox or lunch kit: We strongly recommend a no-waste lunch for the benefit of all. Please stock up on simple containers of various sizes which are manageable by your child and fit inside the lunchbox. Lunches should be self- contained, requiring no heating or refrigeration and should include utensils as your child may need. (http://www.recycleworks.org/schools/lunch.html) has good info.

Reusable water bottle: Metal is best. Please no glass or single-use plastic water bottles; we have filtered water so your child may refill as necessary.

Sunscreen: a bottle for the classroom and on your childʼs body daily before drop-off

Elementary Students Only: Backpack LARGE enough to hold a homework folder, lunchbox, water bottle and jacket. Please be sure there is ample room!
