Happy Mothers’ Day to all the wonderful mothers in our community! We appreciate all that you do for your children and families.

The Dragonfly School Spring Fair could never have happened this year without the great strength and generosity of our school families and staff. It was a pleasure to see so many of you there having fun and helping out. We are pleased by the attendance of so many others from the Santa Fe community, too. This has become a real community event! We hope you had as much fun as we did!

Huge thanks to the many who contributed in a myriad of ways and special mention of our core volunteer committee who brainstormed, organized, and worked extremely hard to make it all happen: Aaron Payne, Justin Stockdale, Emily Gillette, Amy Miller, Jen Forester, Irene Werkhoven, Ann Gomez, Megan Lott, & Karen Earle-Browne. We’d also like to recognize all our student volunteers from Desert Academy: Thanks to Cassidy, Taylor, Zakiah, Emma, & Zoe!

If you know of auction items that you won, please pick up in the office. We will be contacting highest bidders this week. FOUND: Bag of clothing items purchased from Nina’s Play booth; also in the office.

TUESDAY, MAY 11, 9:00 DEPARTURE-SPROUTS VISIT RANCHO DE LAS GOLONDRINAS to celebrate Spanish Colonial Days. PARENT VOLUNTEERS REQUESTED! Please be sure that your child’s car seat is SECURELY fastened into the designated van , using shoulder harnesses for booster-only seats.  LABEL the seat with your child’s name on the front. Your preparation of car seats is invaluable to teachers. Thanks!

THURSDAY, MAY 13 & FRIDAY, MAY 14-SAPLINGS OVERNIGHT CAMPING TRIP to Holy Ghost campground, north of Pecos. Please see Molly for all the details.

FRIDAY, MAY 14-BUDS GO HIKING and celebrate with a jewel jar party.

MONDAY, MAY 17- SEEDS CLASS experiments making clay sculptures with Mark Pilato (Max’s dad). We will be firing pieces in a pit kiln at the school.
