We were  delighted to visit with so many school family members while enjoying Stone Soup last week. We had local and visiting grandparents, great grandparents and honorary grandparents, too- what a warm way to spend a fall afternoon.  We also received  very special help from employees of Kohl’s Department Store, who moved furniture, served soup and joined our party. Kohl’s is also  donating $500 towards Dragonfly’s general expenses as part of their community service program. Special thanks to Karen Menetrey for making this partnership possible.
Our great thanks to all of you who brought in pledges for the Wheelathon. To date we have raised $3065 with reports of more to come. Extraordinary efforts by many have really made such a positive difference in Dragonfly’s bottom line this year already. We will continue to seek funds from our community (great and small) as we head into our annual fundraising campaign. We are really appreciative of those of you who have already given and to those of you reaching out to others who are interested in seeing success in programs such as Dragonfly offers.
